The Abigail

Back to list

BRIDGE’s first new project in Portland, OR, The Abigail, is mixed-income with 128 affordable apartments and the balance at market-rate rents. The Abigail includes a mixture of unit sizes from studios to three-bedroom; however, more than half of the units are two and three-bedroom units, which provide much-needed affordable housing for families. Amenities include two landscaped courtyards, a children’s play area, a community room, laundry rooms on each floor, secure bicycle parking in a tool-equipped bike storage room and underground car parking. The Abigail was certified Gold-level “LEED for Homes” through attention to site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

The Abigail is named for Abigail Scott Duniway, a Portland businesswoman and activist who was instrumental in gaining voting rights for women in the State of Oregon in 1912.
