Make Every Day Count: Dorothy’s Story

When Dorothy's five children were young, she had to start from scratch following a divorce.

She became an elementary school teacher at a public school in a community of need. Now retired, with 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, Dorothy enjoys living independently at Pinole Grove, where she is an active volunteer and social organizer.
